Awards

This award goes to the dancers and their choreographer(s) who the judges feel displayed the best choreography. One award will be presented to 12 & Under and 13 & Over at each Regional and National competition.

This award goes to the routine that the judges feel is the “Most Outstanding”. One award will be presented to 12 & Under and 13 & Over at each Regional and National competition.

This award goes to the routine that the judges feel was the most entertaining routine. One award will be presented to 12 & Under and 13 & Over at each Regional and National Competition.

This award goes to the studio who demonstrates the most professionalism at the competition. One award will be presented to 12 & Under and 13 & Over at each Regional and National Competition.

This award goes to the Student Choreographed routine with the highest score. NOTE: In order for a routine to be eligible for Overall Student Choreography, when registering routine must select “Student Choreography” for the category instead of the style of dance (jazz, lyrical, etc.)

Cash scholarships will be awarded at Regionals in the Intermediate and Competitive levels.  Cash will be awarded at Nationals in the Intermediate and Competitive Levels.

  • $50 Cash – Solo – Tiny, Mini, Young, Teen, Senior, Adult

  • $50 Cash – Duo/Trio-Tiny, Mini, Young, Teen, Senior, Adult

  • $100 Cash – Sm. Group-Tiny, Mini, Young, Teen, Senior, Adult

  • $150 Cash – Lg. Group-Tiny, Mini, Young, Teen, Senior, Adult

  • $200 Cash – Line – Tiny, Mini, Young, Teen, Senior, Adult

  • $200 Cash – Production – Tiny/Mini/Young & Teen/Senior/Adult

There must be at least five dances in each category to be eligible for cash prizes.

Must be at least three dances in each category to qualify for the high point trophy award.

This award goes to the solo, duo, or trio routine with the overall highest score and is awarded to each of the following levels: Recreational, Intermediate and Competitive.

This award goes to the group, line, or production routine with the overall highest score and is awarded to each of the following levels: Recreational, Intermediate, and Competitive.

At each regional and the National competition, Elite Dance Challenge recognizes unique and entertaining performers with our special awards. These awards are directly presented by our special awards judge at our awards ceremony.

Dancers will be selected at our fall conventions and regionals based upon their performance and sportsmanship. They will receive an invitation to be on our “Elite Team” at Nationals. The dancers selected will work with a choreographer to learn a routine to performed at our Nationals. Cash scholarships will be awarded at Nationals!!! More information will be given out at our fall conventions and regionals.

The ADCC (Association of Dance Competitions and Conventions) is a nonprofit association supporting excellence in the dance convention and competition industry. Elite Dance Challenge is a proud Platinum member of the ADCC and delighted to participate in the Studio of Excellence Awards. The Studio of Excellence Award is given to a studio that exemplifies the mission and purpose of the ADCC, which is to support excellence in the dance competition industry. At Regionals, winners will receive an ADCC Plaque and at Nationals, winners will receive an ADCC Banner.

All Studio of Excellence winners are invited to take advantage of a FREE one-year Studio Affiliate Membership in the ADCC. Affiliate Member benefits include:
