CAPE COD, MA

Hyannis is a village on the Cape Cod peninsula in Massachusetts. It’s known for beaches like Kalmus Beach and the private Kennedy Compound at nearby Hyannis Port. You can take the Ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket Island or to Martha’s Vineyard for the day.

Hyannis is a mecca of things to do in the evening. Stroll Main Street, poke around in the shops (don’t miss Mass Bay Company and Kandy Korner!), hit the arcade (Ryan’s Ten Pin Eatery) and ride the outdoor carousel, walk to the Harbor, take a sunset sailing cruise …

You can take a tour of the famous Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory in town or ride on the famous “Cape Cod Central Railroad” or go on a Whale Watch Cruise. Visit the Cape Cod Inflatable Park or the Real Pirates Museum.

• June 1, 2021 – Cape Cod, MA National Finals

Scholarships received at 2021 Regionals must be used towards entry fees for Nationals, as they are not transferable to the 2022 Regional Season.

Registration Guidelines
All National Finals competition registrations should be completed via our online registration system. All of your Regional entry information can be easily transferred to a National Finals registration thru the online system. After the deposit for Nationals is paid, simply select the routines you are bringing to the event al all your routine information and music will be transferred to your Nationals Registration from the Regional event. Each routine can be edited to remove/replace dancers if needed. If you have any difficulties, please contact our office.

Entry Acceptance

EDC does not accept independent entries. All entries must be registered with a Studio. All National Finals entries must have previously qualified at a regional competition or at the Last Chance Prequalification. In order to compete at National Finals, routines must have earned, at minimum, a Gold adjudication. Routines that have not received the minimum adjudication may attempt to re-qualify during the Last Chance Prequalification Competition. Entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis and must be submitted online by the entry deadline. Entries will not be added to the schedule until the online registration is submitted with full payment and a signed Competition Release Form has been received. (A separate Competition Release Form is required for the National Finals event.)

EDC Award Certificates won at a 2021 Regional Competition will be applied to the entry won for, as they are added to the registration system. Award Certificates won during the 2021 Regional Season for routines not competing at the 2021 National Finals will be forfeited.

Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for submitted entries. In the event a child is unable to perform due to a documented injury or illness, EDC may issue an award certificate in lieu of a refund to be used at an EDC 2022 Regional competition. The decision to issue an award certificate for unused entry fees is solely at the discretion of the EDC Director.
